I found CoScripter today at the Alphaworks site in the SOA & WebServices zone
I found this scripting language to be very helpful. Though in its early phase of development, its really impressive!
CoScripter is a system for recording, automating, and sharing business processes performed in a web browser such as printing photos online, requesting a vacation hold for postal mail, or checking a bank account balance. CoScripter lets you make a recording as you perform a procedure, play it back later automatically, and share it with your friends.
During my Experiments with using it, I felt there should have been following things
- Tab browsing
- Looping
- Calling scripts from other scripts.
- And may be browser support.. !?
I am sure the people at IBM Research must already know this, but still “my .002 (?) cents” in support for the same.
Currently un-supported features are listed here.
I am sure, any techie guy would surely love this feature.. at least to try out .
CoScripter is daam Cool! Give it a SHOT.. I am sure.. you would love it.

What does this really mean? Yes.. A ‘pandal’ had been set up at Calcutta on the occasion of Durga Puja which begins today.
Source : BBC UK : Here
A community group in the Indian city of Calcutta says it has been sued by JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, for breach of copyright.
The group has been building a huge model based on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as part of celebrations for a Hindu festival.
A court in the capital, Delhi, will start hearing the case on Friday.
Next week’s Durga Puja festival is a huge event in eastern India – thousands pay homage to the Hindu goddess Durga.
Durga Puja
In Kolkata alone more than ten thousand pandals are set up, all clamouring for the admiration and praise of the populace. The city is adorned with lights. People from all over the country visit the city at this time, and every night is one mad carnival where thousands of people go ‘pandal-hopping’ with their friends and family. Traffic becomes a nightmare, and indeed, most people abandon their vehicles to travel by foot after a point.
There is also a Durga Puja website : http://www.durga-puja.org/
Well, my humble prayers to The Goddess.
